All creative people need something to rebel against

After reading the book “Its not how good you are, It’s how good you want to be.” by Paul Arden
I got lot of things from this book which are very useful for any one but specially to those peoples who are in advertising or designing field.
- Without having a goal it’s difficult to score.
- We don’t see things as they are. We see them as we are.
- To become a champion, fight one more round.
- The superior man is distressed by his want(lack) of ability.
- Success is going from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.
- It’s better to fail in originality, than succeed in imitation
- If you can’t solve a problem, it’s because you’re playing by the rules.
- Nearly all rich and powerful people are not notably talented, educated, charming or good-looking. They become rich and powerful by wanting to be rich and powerful.
- Don’t be afraid of silly ideas.
- Compose your design from the weakest point
- All creative people need something to rebel against, its what gives their lives excitement, and it’s creative people who make the clients’ lives exciting.
- There is no instant solution, the only way to learn is through experience and mistakes.
- Make your vision of where you want to be a reality.
- Do not seek praise.Seek criticism.
You may even get an improvement on your idea- If you have touched some, accept total responsibility for that piece of work.
- Do not covet your ideas Give away everything you know, and more will come back to you.
- Don’ look for the next opportunity. The one you have in hand is the opportunity.
- Don’t promise what you can’t deliver
- Know your client’s aims
- What do you do when your client won’t buy?
Do it his way. Then do it your way.
These are the some points in this book but these are given with examples, images, illustrations in this book. So everybody should read this book
“What do you do when your client won’t buy?
Do it his way. Then do it your way”……
i m inspired by these lines….
